The $49.95 special

As I mentioned in my previous post, there are ads everywhere here. There are also guys on the street handing out flyers which it turns out are for ladies of negotiable virtue. I realise everytime I go to a country I do at least one report on the state of local hookerdom, it seems a shame to break with this blogs fine tradition of low standards.
I looked at the first one I got and binned it but Elaine finds them endlessly entertaining. The one I saw proported to offer a very attractive model-like lady for the $49.95 special. That's like 25 quid! I can't help but wonder what exactly the special is - perhaps she turns up at your room, slaps you in the face and states 'not at 5 times the price you cheap bastard' before storming off.

Tomorrow we're off to the Grand Canyon - at 4:45AM in the morning. Apparently since the opening of the new skywalk, tours there are all sold out and that is the only one we could get. I also had to spend an arm and a leg on it to get the plane tour as 2.5 hours each way on a bus sounded really unpleasant to me. All in all, this'd want to be one world-class hole in the ground or I'm going to be pissed.
